General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Organisations are now swiftly becoming aware of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) This came into force on 24 May 2016 and organisations need to be fully compliant with them by 25 May 2018.

It will change your current methods of collecting, storing, using and transferring personal data. Subject access requests will now need to be processed quicker and there will be stiff penalties for non-compliance. With a primary objective of giving back control to the citizens, the Regulation directs organisations to process personal data in specific manners which may be alien to current methods. This interactive workshop will prepare staff with a deep understanding of the new requirements, expectations and liabilities.
