With effect from Thursday, 1st July 2021, Alayne Sheffield will be appointed as a Director of ExpolCheck Limited, the employment screening company of the Expol Group.
The appointment comes in the light of the forthcoming retirement of Dave Bell, the current Chief Executive of the Expol Group, who signalled his intention to retire later this year on 1st September. He will continue in a role as a Consultant with the Group, assisting with specific, complex and corporate investigations.
Director of Expol, Rob Kinrade, said, “Dave had the foresight in 2005 to see an opportunity and founded Expol. He has developed it into the successful business it is today and oversaw the creation of the employment screening process, which is now a standalone business with a Manager and 3 Researchers. He has led on many complex Fraud and Corporate enquiries over the last 16 years and will be much missed on a day to day basis. I am delighted that he has agreed to remain with the Group as a Consultant.
He continued, “Alayne Sheffield joined Expol as the Manager of ExpolCheck in March 2019 and swiftly grasped the detail of the task. Her background in Finance and HR, where she experienced the screening process as a Client, placed her perfectly to effectively develop the role and she has worked hard to do just that. The business has grown steadily since she joined us and the Board were delighted which she accepted their invitation to join them as a Director. We look forward to Alayne’s contribution on the Board as we continue to grow”.
Alayne Sheffield said, “I am really excited about my future with Expol and making a serious contribution to its future development and growth. The last two years have flown. We have had to adapt with a global pandemic and the impact that has inevitably had on recruitment and working practices. We see tangible positivity on the Island now and our employment screening team has never been so busy. I am really looking forward to the journey ahead”.
