In memory of Richard ‘Richie’ Lloyd

It is with much sadness that the Directors and staff at Expol learnt of the tragic passing away of their former colleague and friend, Richard ‘Richie’ Lloyd.

The majority of our team worked with Richie for many years and remember him fondly as being kind, loyal and ever smiling. He had a positive impact on those around him and there will be many people Island wide who will have experienced his friendly guidance and his ability to share knowledge. Richie had so much to offer the community – he was a fine Police officer, Detective and then Sergeant.

Post retirement, it has always been a pleasure to meet up with him as you would be forever met by the huge grin of a truly big man with a mammoth handshake. His genuine passion in tutoring young people will be sadly missed by those in his Judo Groups, Special Olympics and aspiring young Police officers.

His premature passing has shocked us immensely and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
